About Our Work
The Foundation supports students through several programs, including the Educator Initiative Grants (EIGs) program, the Mental Health Relief Fund, emergency relief, and more.
Educator Initiative Grants
Educator Initiative Grants (EIG) are awarded to individual classroom teachers or teams of teachers. The grants are designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize, and reward creative and innovative instructional approaches used in accomplishing program objectives. EIG's are often awarded with the goal of scaling the program throughout the district. Grant requests of up to $1,200 are awarded.
Mental Health Relief Fund
This program was created to ensure that any student who is seeking mental health support does not encounter barriers that would prohibit them from getting help.
Emergency Crisis Relief
The Foundation also supports students by providing funding for emergency relief, school supplies, school-based food pantries, and other critical needs. When students are able to get their physical, mental, and emotional needs met, they are better able to grow and thrive in the classroom.
