Cherry Creek Schools Emergency Relief Fund
We’re In This Together
Update: CCSF is raising funds to address a critical need in our community. District staff have identified at least 1,200 students that lack high-speed internet access. Students without internet access risk losing their connection to school and falling farther behind. Our goal is to ensure all students have access to the internet and are ready for whatever this school year brings.
To help contribute to this effort, select the 'CCSD Emergency Relief - Internet Access' in directing funds section below. Your gift is 100% tax-deductible and will be restricted to the Cherry Creek Schools Emergency Relief Fund to support critical needs like internet access
In light of the unprecedented situation regarding COVID-19, the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation in coordination with the district, has established the Cherry Creek Schools Emergency Relief Fund to aid our students, families and local communities during this crisis. During this continually changing situation, we are working closely with district officials to monitor and respond to the areas of greatest need and utilize this fund to help our students, teachers and staff navigate these uncertain times.
Your donation will help support:
- Free meals to students in need: 30% of our students in the district qualify for free and reduced lunch. This fund will help supplement access to food services that are vital to our community.
- Educational resources for students and families to use during our extended school closures.
- Implementing online and remote learning options for our students.
- Respond to the most urgent needs of our community as they arise.
The district will provide Free Breakfast and Lunch for kids 18 throughout the school closure. Free grab-and-go bagged breakfast and lunch meals are available at several sites across the district. Meals will be distributed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with drive-up and walk-up service provided at all sites. For details and a list of sites, click here.
The Foundation has already committed $15,000 to this effort, covering the purchase of books for this program.
We are asking the community to join together in supporting programs like this and enable us to respond to the most urgent needs of our students and community during their most desperate time of need. With your support, we'll be ready to act as new needs arise.
Your donation is tax-deductible and could qualify for an employer match. Check with your employer for eligibility.
