You Can Be a Hero to Students In Need!
Help Kids Connect!
Update: We've reached our matching gift goal - $30,000 will be matched by our WiFi Superheroes! Thank you to all of our WiFi Heroes for your donations! We are one step closer to ensuring all students stay connected this school year. You can still be a hero to our students - donate today to help provide internet service to students in need.
Across our community, there is a critical need to ensure that all of our students have access to the internet as we prepare for the school year. We are looking for 'WiFi Heroes' to help keep ALL students connected to school and the opportunity to learn. Even though the District has been able to provide students in need with computers - families are still in need of internet service. Surveys conducted by CCSD staff have identified almost 1,200 students in our district that lack high-speed internet.
You can help us solve this problem:
Who: CCSD surveys of our community and staff outreach have identified at least 1,200 students in need of high-speed internet service.
What: We are working with local companies to identify the most cost-effective solution to provide internet access for our district. Total cost to provide internet for these students is estimated to be $200,000.
When: Now! Our goal is to ensure all identified students families receive internet service as soon as possible.
Why: Students without internet access could lose their connection to school and teachers and risk falling farther behind. Our goal is to ensure all students are prepared to learn remotely and ready for whatever this school year brings.
Your gift will help provide students with high-speed internet access for the entire school year!
A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. Your gift is 100% tax-deductible and will be restricted to the Cherry Creek Schools Emergency Relief Fund to support critical needs like internet access.
