Corporate Champion: Plante Moran
Part of the Cherry Creek School District’s mission is to inspire students to care. CCSF believes in that mission and our corporate partners at Plante Moran embody it. “Plante Moran has a motto of We Care”, said current CCSF Board Chair and Plante Moran partner, Brian Rooney. “We care about the communities that our firm is in, and we want to have a positive impact within those communities. We are honored to be a partner with CCSF and have that impact on all students within CCSD.”
With one of their largest regional offices located here in the district, Plante Moran has shown their dedication to improving the places their employees and clients live - partnering with the Foundation for years to support our students, teachers, and schools. Aside from financial contributions, Plante Moran has taken a hands-on role in the work of the Foundation, helping grow our reach and impact. Not one, but three of the Foundation’s Board Chairs hail from Plante Moran.
Kreg Brown, who served as Board Chair from 2010 – 2011, was excited to help lead an organization supporting public education and investing in the future of our community. “Education is the architecture of the soul”, said, Kreg. “Public education particularly represents hope and a path forward to a better place for everyone.”
Joe Adams of Plante Moran, led the Foundation Board from 2002 – 2003 and was inspired by the Foundation’s goal of bringing innovative approaches in the classroom to life. “I love the Educator Initiative Grant program. It gives a teacher the opportunity to add some creativity in their teaching methods and really enhance the education experience for the students”, said Joe. “The Cherry Creek School District has always been an excellent school district and I think the Foundation has made it that much better by inspiring educators to become innovative in the ways they teach.”
Plante Moran and its predecessor firm EKS&H have been involved in the Foundation since 1998. In that time span, a partner from the firm has sat on the board of the Foundation. We are honored to have such a dedicated community partner and look forward to continuing the work of positively impacting all of our students.
