Special Events

Throughout the year, the Foundation holds a number of events and fundraisers including: sporting events with professional sports teams, our annual Gala, the Cardboard Challenge and Colorado Gives Day. Through these fundraisers, the Foundation raises money to provide grants for the students of the Cherry Creek School District that focus on innovation in the classroom.

  • Colorado Gives Day is on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Colorado Gives Day is powered by ColoradoGives.org, a year-round website featuring nearly 1,500 nonprofits. ColoradoGives.org encourages charitable giving by providing comprehensive, objective and up-to-date information about Colorado nonprofits and an easy way to support them online.

  • The Cherry Creek Schools Foundation will host the 5th Annual Cherry Creek Schools Foundation Cardboard Challenge on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at Smoky Hill High School. The Cardboard Challenge is a celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it inspired by the short film, “Caine’s Arcade.” Kids are challenged to create and build using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination. REGISTER HERE.

  • The 4th Annual Invest in Success Gala will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Marriott DTC.

  • The Cherry Creek Schools Foundation is proud to work with our local professional sports teams including the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, University of Colorado Boulder and the Colorado Rapids to provide a fun evening at a game and fundraising for our Foundation.
